Volcano glass tumbler, manufactured with virtually unbreakable Ion Shielding technology
The Volcano glass is an elegant glass crafted using ION SHIELDING technology, an ionization process that compacts the glass, sealing all natural fissures and making it virtually unbreakable. Lightweight yet durable, Volcano glasses are surprisingly flexible and have been developed with the clear objective of positively influencing the sensory experience of drinking wine.

Volcano glass tumbler, an elegant tumbler made from an ionization process that compacts the glass making it virtually unbreakable by impacts, light and resistant, it surprises with its flexibility.
-
Developed with the clear objective of positively influencing the sensory experience of drinking wine or enhancing the flavors of any beverage inside.
-
Volcano employs the best technology on the market with a spectacular R&D presentation, achieving unprecedented resistance despite its lightness.
-
Its lightness is due to its handcrafted, piece-by-piece construction. This process, combined with its ion-based technology, is what gives it its strength, creating a truly magical combination.
-
High flexibility is made possible by a special treatment applied during its manufacturing process. When pressure is applied, the outer layer undergoes molecular reorganization, resulting in an ion replacement. This makes the entire piece compact and ultra-resistant.

The character of a glass that transforms flavor into an experience, touch into a memory that takes shape and makes you fly towards unexpected adventure, maintaining the perfect balance of that moment of calm that life gives you.
Why are they so strong if they're so thin?
Due to a patented technology called ION SHIELDING.
The glasses undergo an ionization process that compacts the crystal throughout the entire piece. This transforms the outer layer, sealing and hardening natural fissures, making it much more compact and resistant . To give you an idea, they transform a crystallized (solid) salt into a liquid, and then bathe the glasses in a long process at extremely high temperatures. They not only use the best materials (the chemical composition of the glasses contains titanium, among many others) but also the best technological applications.
Why are they so flexible?
Due to this treatment, the cup goes through a process where the outer layer proceeds to organize itself molecularly and an ion replacement occurs , thus making the whole piece compact and ultra resistant.
Why are they so light?
Thanks to being mouth-blown and crafted one by one, each piece is a work of art, simple and handmade, allowing artisans to meticulously attend to every detail and every step . This type of production would not be viable for STEM ZERO without ION SHIELDING, as it provides what ultra-thin crystal lacks: STRENGTH. Every part of the glasses has its purpose , whether to maintain the balance of the piece or to ensure that any wine follows the path intended by the designers and winemakers. (Inside the glass)
Furthermore, the container should be as light as possible and have minimal contact with the diner's lips—a basic rule . These two details, along with the development of the calyx, which is indicated for each wine, ensure that every sip is the best and that the specific areas of the palate that define the flavor are activated for a proper tasting and experience.
